Career Development
Education is at the heart of our organization and that holds true for our associates as well. Through our Educational Program, you can take advantage of the educational assistance provided by GMAC to expand your knowledge, learn more skills that will not only help you with your current job, but that can also help you prepare for whatever your future may hold. Additionally, as a GMAC associate you may be able to receive loan forgiveness under the federal government’s Public Sector Loan Forgiveness Program. Individuals who are employed by a government or not-for-profit organization are eligible for the program. Borrowers who work in non-profits may qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness for their qualified federally held student loans. This means that outstanding loan balances could be completely forgiven after 10 years of full-time employment at non-profit companies and 120 on-time loan payments while employed.
Note: GMAC employee benefit offerings, or any programs through the Federal government, may change at any time. See official plan documents for more information.
