Preliminary Insights From GMAC Research on Globalization Sentiment

This brief summarizes the findings of two short surveys that GMAC conducted among selected GMAT test takers and mba.com registrants regarding the impact of the Brexit vote and the 2016 US presidential election on non-US candidates decisions to study either in the United Kingdom or the United States.

  • Respondents to the Brexit survey included 1,291 non-UK GMAT test takers who had sent at least one GMAT score report to a program located in the United Kingdom in 2016. 
  • Respondents to the survey related to the impact of US election results included 760 individuals who are non-US citizens who registered on mba.com between November 9 and December 31, 2016.
