Quick Facts Globally, more than 1.1 million Graduate Management Admission Test™ (GMAT™) exams have been taken over the past five years by individuals interested in pursuing graduate management education. The GMAT exam is an important part of the admissions process for more than 7,300 graduate management programs worldwide. A total of 173,176 GMAT exams were taken worldwide by prospective business school students in testing year 2020 (TY2020), which ran from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020. These examinees sent a total of 338,768 score reports to graduate-level management programs across the globe. Please note that testing for 2020 GMAT exams were impacted by COVID-19 resulting in the closure of test centers worldwide.
